SleepZzz Pillow Review

Ok, so truth time. I was a co sleeping parent. I know all the rules and warnings and everything else. But I still co slept with my kids. My oldest moved to his own bed at about two and a half. My youngest was about two when he finally moved into his own bed. But ever since they have moved to their own beds, they wake up constantly in the middle of the night. So I end up out of bed nightly reassuring them that they are ok. My youngest, Dwayne is the worst. Some nights he will wake up multiple times a night. He was always so used to me sleeping with my arm around his neck. So when I discovered SleepZzz pillows, I was so excited to be able to give them a try.

Dwayne was so excited when the box arrived and I told him it was his new special pillow. He couldn't wait for me to get the box open, and then the bag (hence the not perfect pictures). As soon as I got the pillow out of the package, he wanted to be wrapped up like the "little girl on the picture." So I did. He was so excited. I was so amazed at how soft the cover is to the pillow. The SleepZzz is basically a body pillow for kids. It is rated for ages 3 and older. The real test was the first couple nights of sleep. He was more excited then normal to go to bed on night one, and again asked me to lay one side of the SleepZzz pillow over his arm. I went and checked on him fifteen minutes later, when he is usually still up talking to himself in his room. He was passed out. I continued to check on him through out the night because I am that worry wart mom. He slept comfortably all night on night one! He woke up in a much better mood.

The only downside to this pillow is not having one for both kids, yet. My oldest son who is 5.5 was and is so mad about not having a SleepZzz pillow of his own. He has stolen Dwayne's multiple times and tried to hide it under his blankets. When I asked him why he wants his brothers pillow so much he responds the same way each time. "The pillow is so soft and cozy mom! And it wraps around your body like a hug. I want to be hugged all night too."

The SleepZzz pillows are filled with a good quality fiber fil so your pillow will last longer. And the cover is removable to make it easier to keep clean. Karma Game Review- Holiday Gift Guide

With it coming into fall, my husband and I love nothing more on a weekend, or sometimes even on a week night to get into a game nights. We play the games with the kids before it is their bed time, then after they are in bed we get into more competitive games together. We can spend hours playing card and board games. So when I was given the chance to check out the Karma Card Game collection I was so excited.

I was sent three different varieties of the game Karma. There is the Karma, Karma King and Karma Mini Round. This is a simple, yet fun game. There are Karma cards in each deck that play like wild cards. In the Karma King Version the Karma cards are a bit different and they even have make your own Karma cards. The object of the game is to not have any cards left in your hands. If you are the last one with cards, you lose. The game takes roughly 35 minutes per round. And is so much fun. You can also combine sets if you have more people playing.

The Karma Mini Round game is meant for 2 to 4 players, and is perfect to throw in your purse, or diaper bag so you can play while you are out to eat or hanging out in a coffee shop. This set takes roughly 15 minutes per round.

Karma King is being sold exclusively at Target stores. And you can find all of these games and many more from Set Games, here
You can also check out their Facebook page here.

Magnatab Review- Holiday Gift Guide

With Christmas approaching I am always looking for gifts for my kids that do not involve electronics. It seems to be now a days all that kids want are the latest and greatest video game systems, and anything that needs a charger. Drives me nuts. I was so lucky when I was given the chance to check out the Magnatab and Glow in the Dark Magnatab on Playmonster. I immediately decided that I needed to check out what the Magnatab's were all about. I opened up the Glow in the Dark Magnatab to check it out first. This is the bigger out of the two Magnatab's. So my husband sat and watched me while I started playing. Him and I spent over a half hour taking turns playing with it back and forth. It is so simple to use. You simply dry with the stylus. To erase what you have done, you turn the stylus on it's side and slide it across the board.

t
The Free Play Magnatab is a little smaller then the Glow in the Dark Magnatab, but it doesn't stop it from being any less fun. I actually figured it would work a little bit better for my three year old. Both Magnatab's have a little bit of weight to them since they are made of magnets. There were only a few times that I had a hard time getting the magnets to surface, but I think it was because I was moving the stylus to fast.

These Magnatab's are great for helping kids learn to write letters and numbers. Also these are great for holiday road trips. My kids can spend hours drawing different things, and my oldest loves being able to write his letters on it.

If you would like to find out more about the Free Play Magnatab, or the Glow in the Dark Magnatab, please visit Playmonster by clicking here.

DishFish Review and Giveaway- Holiday Gift Guide

Being a stay at home mom, I find myself cleaning up an insane amount of messes. Anything from the good old crayon or marker on walls, the fridge, or even the table. All the way to scrubbing greasy baked on food from pans. I mean I can't win at every meal right? I have had so many problems in the past with different sponges. I don't like how quickly a traditional sponge just gets nasty. I also don't like how a lot of them will scratch up your pots and pans. So when I read about DishFish, I of course felt like I needed to know more.

DishFish has a sponge or scrubber for anything you need! They come in several different sizes. So you can fit them anywhere. Use them for anything, or if you have kids, they have ones small enough that my 3 year old can use. DishFish has the Scrubber, as well as the dual Scrubber sponge. They have sizes large enough to be able to scrub your tires on your car. And Scrubber Sponges big enough to wash your whole car. Which my husband loves because we are constantly washing his vehicles. And they fit well in his large hands.

Based on laboratory testing, DishFish are stronger, more absorbent, and release food particles more effectively and quickly then their respective competitors. From what I have personally found, DishFish are fantastic at getting baked on food off my cookie sheets, and even out of my pans. I am really great at baking things onto my pans. And I absolutely HATE trying to clean them. I put a little soap on a DishFish dual scrubber sponge, and went on a dry pan with baked on food. It didn't even take a minute to get everything off the pan.

The DishFish Scrubber is 2.5 times more durable then its competitor. They are 4 times more efficient at releasing water. I know I have seen a lot of people complain about how the competitor scrubbers fall apart so quickly. I have personally tried them and I can use them up in a day because they seem to almost melt as you use them. I tried the DishFish Scrubber on many different jobs, and I am still on my first scrubber, even a couple weeks in. And it still looks as good as new.

I love the design of the DishFish. You are able to set this sponge or scrubber up on its "tail" to dry. And it works so well. No more smelly sponges in my kitchen. Or feeling like I need to get rid of them so quickly because of that stink. You know, the one that ends up transferring to your dishes.

The DishFish Dual is 10 times more durable then its leading competitor. 6 times more absorbent. Has a great single swipe absorbency. Which makes for cleaning up your kitchen after meals SO MUCH QUICKER. I took this to a clients house that I clean once a month so I could test it out on a bigger and different jobs then what I have here at home. I love them so much, I have been using them everywhere. Not only are they great to use, but their design is so cute.

The DishFish is so great, it even has the Good Housekeeping tried and tested approval.

Heavenly Halo Baby Bottle Accessories Review and Giveaway

As a mom, even now that my kids are a little bit older I go in every night to have to find their water bottles that they bring to bed. And every night I have a hard time trying to sneak in and out quietly without the kids waking. Even as babies, bottles were the worst to find. And if you didn't find them, you knew by morning that it would be curdled and chunky. I can't tell how many times I have lost bottles in my car, house, any where because at night you just can not find them.

Heavenly Halo comes in three different colors. They are so simple to use. You simply wrap them around your babies bottle or cups after turning the light on. And in the dark you can see perfectly, but it is not to much light that your little one is going to be distracted or unable to sleep from it. These are perfect for parents of newborns through toddlers. And with three different colors to choose from: blue, white, and pink. You will have a perfect choice for any one. These would also make great gifts for new moms at a baby shower. It is one of those gifts you didn't know you needed so badly until you use one. Then you never knew how you survived without one. I know I will be continuing to use these on both my kids water bottles at night even now.

LearnPlay Review- Holiday Gift Guide

When shopping for my kids for the holidays, I like to find things that are fun for them, all while helping them learn. I found the perfect combination with LearnPlay. I was given the chance to check out two different dinosaurs from LearnPlay. I received the Diplo and the T-Rex

The Diplo is perfect for small hands. I love that it opens up and your little one can learn how to put their skeletons together. I love that it helps them learn different bones in the body. And with everything being magnetic, it doesn't fall apart easily. Both my almost 3 year old as well as my 5 year old love these. And have taken turns playing with him. LearnPlay also included a build your own habitat, so you are not only learning how a dinosaurs bone structure is, they can also have hands on learning with what it may have looked like where the dinosaurs have lived.

The T-Rex was my oldest sons favorite. He has been very passionate about dinosaurs since this summer and our trip to the zoo with a dinosaur exhibit. His favorite dinosaur has since been the T-Rex since seeing an animatronic model of one. He was so excited that he could get his hands on one, and take it apart. He was putting it in sand and pretending to be a paleontologist.
I love that no matter where we go, these are the perfect toy to come with. They can play pretend or use it as a puzzle.

There are six different models as of right now that LearnPlay has come out with. If you would like to check out these two models, or any of the others from LearnPlay, please click here
