Savvi Review- Holiday Gift Guide

Looking for great Christmas gifts for my kids can be tough. I don't want them to only get video games, and toys. I also like to have things for them that make them use their imagination. So when I was given the chance to work with Savvi, I was super excited. Savvi's whole thought is to "unlock a child's happiness." And they couldn't be more spot on with it. My kids always love getting things that they can color, or create. Savvi seems to have it all. The Color Stacks are super cool. They come with so many pieces That you get to color and stack together. Including foam stickers, which you can hang up when you are done.

The Glow Color ups are super cute as well. I love that these will fit into stockings. And are also great for travel around the holiday's. I love being able to find things for my kids to occupy themselves in the car rides that can be so long and dreaded in Michigan winters. And since everything you need is right there in the package, you don't have to worry about making sure that you grab all the markers. My kids love having their artwork in their rooms so at night they can glow. My kids wake up rather early in the morning most mornings, and they still glow through out the night.

My kids absolutely love the growing "pets" They have both taken over my large mixing bowls, and they check them multiple times  a day. My youngest took over the snake immediately, and named him "Tim." He thinks that Tim is the coolest snake in town. Tim is definitely one of the only kinds of snakes this mama likes.

My oldest son took over the Alien. He has named him "Rob." And thinks it is so awesome that he has an alien growing in our house. He tells everyone, from teachers to friends and is so proud of Rob. We talk about the different adventures Rob must have been on before landing here on planet earth.

The colored changing dinosaurs are always a huge hit. We ended up using one bowl of warm water, and one bowl of ice water and he spent over an hour just sitting at the table making them change colors.

Another great stocking stuffer are these awesome paint posters. They come with twelve sheets, and each sheet has a little mini water color set on the bottom. They are so easy to use, and much less mess then any other painting projects we have done in our house. Which I am beyond grateful for.

Tattoos are always a huge hit in our house. Especially when we are stuck inside for a long period of time. My kids will end up covered in tattoos. I always think it is so funny to watch them figure out placement on their tattoos. They always make sure to help each other out. So getting a couple packages of amazing tattoos were a fun edition to our fall time fun. Their dad and I may have even used a couple of the mustache tattoos ourselves.

Lambay Irish Whiskey Review

One of my husbands favorite drinks is Irish Whiskey. He is very particular about his whiskey. A whiskey snob so to say, so when he seen that I had received some Lambay Whiskey he felt like there was no better time then the present to test it out. Now, typically he is a mixer type of whiskey drinker. It is very rare for him to just sip on whiskey on the rocks. But, for the sake of reviewing, he knew he had to give it a clear try alone before mixing to let me know how it tastes. Since he is the whiskey drinker of the house.

He tried the Lambay alone first, and said he was impressed with how smooth it was. He has had a few different types of Irish whiskey in the past, and he said this one tops all of them. His words were that it had a "nutty, spice, and malt" flavor. Which would be right as it has a Almond, Pepper, Malt and Floral taste.

Lambay Whiskey is made in small batches, maturing in Bourban barrels with a pleasant cognac cask finish. It is also crafted with Trinity Well Water from Lambay Island.

My husband enjoys Lambay Whiskey on the rocks, or one part Lambay with two parts ginger ale. It is a very nice sipping whiskey for any whiskey lover in your life this holiday season. To find out more about Lambay Whiskey, please click here.

Radz Review- Holiday Gift Guide

Finding the best stocking stuffers for my kids can be quite the chore. Thankfully, Radz has me covered. If you haven't heard about Radz let me tell you a bit about them. Radz are these super cute candy dispensers that come with a small amount of candy to put in them. The best part about these refillable dispensers. The kids are still going to love them after the candy is gone.

My boys absolutely loved playing with these. With and without candy in them. I also love that you can get them in any type of character. I chose dinosaurs and super heros because that is what my boys are really into right now. But you can find them with My Little Pony and Shopkins even. They are super cute, and everyone will be able to enjoy their favorite characters this Christmas.

You can order Radz by going to Amazon, or clicking here

Lumabone Review and Giveaway- Holiday Gift Guide

My corgi and saint bermastiff, but especially my saint bermastiff are chewers. Diesel (the saint bermastiff) is constantly looking for things to chew. Typically toys and bones that are meant for "super chewers" last him minutes if that. Recently, my cousin came over, and brought Diesel a toy that was supposed to be built to last. I mean, double stitching, the whole nine yards on this toy. He had the toy for not even ten minutes and there was stuffing all through my living room, and the toy was completely destroyed. She kept saying, "This is supposed to be a tough toy. This should of lasted much longer then this." So a twenty dollar tough dog toy, was gone.

Lumabone however, can be chewed on for weeks without being destroyed. These come in bacon flavor. I gave each of my dogs one. My corgi, Eldorado is a bone chewer. She only typically likes real bones or rawhides, so I get nervous giving her anything else. But my little old queen took it and went into her hiding spot to enjoy it in peace, and she was actually chewing on it too.

Diesel, my hard core chewer has been unable to break this wishbone into pieces. He carries it around almost everywhere. I actually have to make him give me his wishbone before he goes outside.

Both of my dogs love these bones so much. And I love that you are not spending an arm and a leg in the first place. Then you also are not going to have to replace it within a day because they don't just break.

If you are looking to give your dog a long term chew toy that isn't going to break the bank this holiday season, check out Lumabone by clicking here

Chewy.com Dog Toy Review

My Saint Bermastiff, Diesel is a dog that loves all things toys. The big issue is, he can chew them up typically in less then a day. So I am constantly looking for great deals on toys. I found this awesome toy on Chewy.com for him. It is from All Kind Nylon. And has no squeaker, which is one of my favorite things. The outside of the toy is nylon along the edges and like a rubber material on the inside. When his toy arrived just days after ordering, he was in love. He has started to chew this up, but not nearly as fast as I thought he was going too. He loves running all through the house with his new toy from Chewy.com

I was so amazed with how fast Chewy.com delivered. It was only a few days. They even make sure to send out emails to see if you need more. Their prices are better then the stores near me. And I don't have to worry about running out in the bad weather, especially coming into the winter months here to get what I need with Chewy.com having it shipped right to my door with ease.

Enviro-log Review

Ok, so this is super embarrassing to admit. Especially since I grew up in the country, and around bon fires constantly: I am unable to start a fire on my own. I have always tried, multiple different ways and I can never seem to get it. My husband is always the one to start the fires in our house. But before him, I tried everything with multiple friends of mine, and nothing worked. With my husband going out on hunting trips and everything else, and my boys still wanting to have smore's I needed to figure out something that would make a fire and that we could still cook over.

I have seen and actually tried a few different brands of these easy start fire logs in the past, and I don't know what I always did wrong but I could never get them to stay lit. So, I was pretty nervous about Enviro-log fire logs as well. But, I brought it out to our wood stove in our garage, because I wanted it warm out there to wrap presents to hide from the kids. And it lit super easy. Staying lit was my main concern, and I had absolutely no problem. I love that the five pound log will last for about 3 hours, and it did last about 4 for me in the wood stove with no problems. These can be used in the fireplace, wood stove, chimneas, fire pits. They burn much cleaner then burning wood, are super easy to use, they even smell good. They are safe to cook over and even produce higher flames.

Enviro-log fire logs are made out of 100% recycled materials. It actually comes from wax covered cardboard, which is usually used to transport fruits and vegetables. I am not going to lie, I was amazed to find out, because I have always wanted to know what was in the paper bag. They admit less greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, and creosote.

Now if you simply need a little assistance with fire starting, Enviro-log has fire starters. These are great for going backpacking, or travel. They stay lit for about twenty minutes, and can even light with damp wood. There is no mess to clean up after, and they travel super easy. You simply just light the paper cup and set it under your wood and you will be all set. I love how easy these are to use.

Gramma In A Box Review

I love doing crafty things with my boys. My boys love it the most when anything we do crafty ends up with them having a fun treat at the end. My main problem personally is, even though I love to make these types of things I am not personally great at it. Growing up, I remember doing fun activities with my own Grandma. They are actually some of my favorite memories. Especially since all of these fun activities with my Grandma came well before the pinterest time.

Gramma in a Box comes with everything you need to make three fun and delicious projects. Gramma Terry originally started boxing up different cookies and treats she could make with her grandchildren over skype after they moved away from her. It was her way of still being able to do the fun and memorable "Gramma activities" even though they were so far away.

The best part of Gramma in a box. I am not pysching my boys up to do a fun project like decorating cookies to have the cookies not turn out. Everything you need is right there and ready. The most you will need from home is silverware or things you will have in your home to decorate or work on the projects. I received this box on a Thursday, so I told my kids we would work on the projects over the weekend. They were so excited. I loved that everything is written down, and nothing is overly complicated. So doing this box with my five and three year old was so easy.

Everything was packaged up to the perfect sizes for you. So you don't have to worry about buying sprinkles that you just are going to use once a year. My boys had such a fun time doing this box with me, and helping build memories. I love the durable cards with the projects on them. You are able to not only use them when you work on the box, but you can also save them for a different time to recreate the projects your kids love the most.

These boxes are great for anyone. You can send them to your kids or grandchildren that live far away. These are also great if you are missing your Gramma after her passing. Or if you love to make sweet treats, but like me are not the greatest crafter. If you are a Gramma wanting to work on a fun project with your kids, but don't know the first thing about baking, this is the box for you. Each box holds fifteen to twenty sweet treats.

My kids have had the best time working on this box with me. They were so overjoyed to be working on these projects, and they couldn't wait to be able to eat the treats. I was impressed with the quality, and packaging of the box for everything.
