Disclaimer: I received these for review purposes. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my own opinions. Your experience may differ. I have reviewed so many peanut butters and nuts butters since starting my blog, but PB Crave was definitely the most "wild". Wild does not necessarily mean bad. I have never seen such fun flavors of peanut butter, EVER!
Everyone knows some of the best gifts to receive during the holidays are baked goods... at least that is one of my favorite things to get. I also love making cookies and breads for people the holidays, and people sure do love eating them!
PB Crave comes in four different flavors:
- Razzle Dazzle (Raspberry with Chocolate)
- Cookie Nookie (Cookie Dough)
-Coco Bananas (Chocolate Banana)
- Choco Choco (Chocolate)
I couldn't help myself, cookie dough is one of my favorite things in the world. So I tried that one first and LOVED it! The cookie dough flavor was not overpowering, but you can still taste it. It definitely enhances the regular peanut butter. I'm not a huge peanut butter sandwich eater, but the rest of my family is, and they couldn't wait to try these flavors on their sandwiches. My husband loves the Coco Bananas flavor, as he loves peanut butter and banana sandwiches. He loved it. I myself had to be a little creative to try these out. I decided to make No-Bake cookies. No-Bakes are some of my all time favorite cookies. I don't make them often though, because otherwise I will eat them! HAHA!
I did notice that these need to be stirred up prior to use, as the peanut oil rises to the top. We have used natural peanut butter before, so this was not anything out of the norm. I think it is thicker than regular peanut butters, though to me that's not a bad thing!
Check out my recipe for No-Bakes! These were a HUGE hit. I made chocolate and Peanut Butter, both with Cookie Nookie, and they turned out AWESOME. usually I have problems with them setting up correctly, but not this time!
