My baby's heartbeat bear review

Being a mom, I know all of the useful and useless gifts you can get from a baby shower. I got so many things that I just looked at, said thank yous and thought. Well what the heck am I going to do with that?
Thankfully, this isn't one of those gifts. I received the Vintage Bunny. When I opened it up, I was so surprised on how soft it is. It looks exactly how the picture online showed. A very cute vintage bunny. Each my baby's heartbeat bear comes with a small heart that you can take in with you to your doctors office, and record your babies heartbeat. Which I think is so sweet.

These are great for you to have that memory to hold on to of your little one. It would be awesome to give to a bigger sibling so they can hear their little sibling before they come out. And when the little one is born, this is great to help keep them calm when they can hear sounds that are from the womb.

I also love how many options there are for stuffed animals. You can get bears with picture frames. You can get most any animal you can think of if you have a certain theme you are trying to stick with. Another great thing about my baby's heartbeat bear, they have gender reveal kits. So you can use this at your gender reveal party! Which is a cute way to find out the sex of the baby. And at the end you have a great little keepsake.

Flip 'N' Check Review and GIVEAWAY

Finding different activities for little ones to do now a days beyond electronics seems to be so tough. So when I was able to check out Flip 'N' Check dry erase books, I was so stoked. My kids are personally still a little young to do this on their own. But I have been using it as an activity that we can do together, and my almost five year old LOVES it.

Flip 'N' Check Mad Libs comes with multiple sheets of mad libs that help young minds create their own fun mad libs. And since these are targeted for the younger crowd, they even added a cheat sheet in a way of different adjectives, nouns, and other things to help them in case they get stuck.

I know as my kids grow, I will be able to just leave these in the car, so I don't have to worry about the lack of WIFI when we are out running our errands. It is great because everything stays together with these books. Everything is completely reusable, you just put it behind the plastic sleeve, answer the questions, then flip it over to read your newly created mad lib.

And since everything is right there with you, there is an eraser for the dry erase page right on the tip of the marker to make it so clean up is a breeze. Right inside the book has a little spot to hold all of your papers so they aren't falling out everywhere making a mess that no parent wants to clean up.

They have a few different varieties. I am sure older kids would appreciate brain games more then my kids right now. But I think that all of them are fun personally.

BarkBox Review

I grew up constantly having a dog or dogs in the home my entire life. When I got out on my own, I had to make sure I still had that furry family member there to keep me company. It has been years since I have had a puppy. My old dogs only really love bones. Now that over the summer we brought home a new furry family member after losing my old man, I forgot how much a puppy can actually chew if you don't give them the proper things to chew.

I was so happy when BarkBox allowed me to try out a box for my new no so little man Diesel. He is our Saint Bermastiff. It is crazy how much he loves to chew on anything. I haven't had a dog this active in many years. So, it is nice to have toys around for him. The kids also love having toys that are soft enough they can play fetch with him in the house.

Barkbox came in and it was a theme. Which I thought was so cute. And they take their themes very seriously. The paper it was packed in was themed. It was castles and knights. On the back of the paper, there was a cute little Scroll you could fill out with your dogs information. Though I couldn't get a great picture of it no matter how I laid it.

Inside of my, well Diesel's barkbox came two stuffed toys, two bags of dog treats, as well as a bone. My older dog Eldorado snagged up the bone because she isn't in to to much else. Diesel was having a hard time containing himself for me to take pictures of the products that were inside. He was so excited.

I thought this little card was cute. On the opposite side it had a pop out crown for your pup to wear. I tried to get Diesel to wear it, he thought it meant I wanted him to chew it.

Diesel is having such a good time playing with all of these toys. He was so excited to have new toys, and my kids were so happy as well. I think these barkboxes are fabulous to give your dogs new options every month. Especially if they go through their toys quickly.

Spoonk Review

My husband and I both suffer from back pain. I have had a few injuries from when I was working. And my husband works doing a lot of heavy lifting, and tends to come home with back pain almost daily. So when given the chance to work with Spoonk, I was so excited for both my husband and I.

I first let my husband try the Spoonk mat. Mainly because I am afraid of trying anything new. It is covered in hard white plastic "spikes." They really don't hurt to touch, unless you get them stuck under your fingernail. But I am clumsy, so I am sure that is why it happened. I had my husband lie on it in our bed to check it out. It only took about ten minutes the first use for him to get comfortable on it. He ended up falling asleep for about an hour before waking up and feeling great.

The magnetic roller is by far one of my favorite products on the planet. I used this on my own back with ease, because of the extended handles. My husband and I took turns using it on each others backs. And I love that you can use it on so many parts of your body. After about fifteen minutes, you feel so refreshed. My husband has been asking for me to use this on his back every day since we got it.

The spoonk groove ball is AMAZING. My husband actually took this and leaves it in his office at work to use on his breaks for his hands and feet. I have used tennis balls in the past to help for a quick pick me up on my feet, but with the little nodules, it is so much better. And it is so small and easy to bring with you where ever you go.

Go-Cake! Review

Everyone has those cravings that hit. In my house, we have quite the sweet tooth. Not all at the same time, and when we do decide to make a sweet treat, everyone has a different opinion on what I should bake. I always end up making three to four different things. In the end, something or a lot of it is going bad.
So when given the chance to try Go Cake! I was super excited. Especially since they come in many different flavors, to help every one get a quickly made treat without any fighting or hassle. There are two ways you can make these. The "Chic" way or the "Easy" way. I chose to try the easy option because lets face it, I am a mom to two rambunctious kids, Extra dishes, and time is not something I look forward too.
The Steps for the Easy way are:
  1. You easily tear off the top of the package
  2. Pop it in the microwave for only one minute.
  3. Let is stand for five minutes, Which is a good idea so you don't burn your mouth.
  4. ENJOY!!!

Go Cakes! Would be great for moms on the go, a great after school snack or even quick dessert after a long day. Perfect for in your desk at work so you can get that quick pick me up.

EatSmart Precision MaxView Review

With us coming into the new year, that means new years resolutions. Which a lot of people, including myself and husband are looking to shed those holiday pounds. I received the EatSmart Precision Max View Digital Bathroom Scale to try out, and I was so excited.

I immediately took it out of the box. It was so simple to put the batteries in, and get set up. I had my son be my model, thus the one sock on look in my pictures. It is great. You step on, there is no wait time for it to load up, it just gives you an accurate reading each time. I love that the screen on it is large enough that you don't have to worry about remembering your glasses to be able to know what your weight it.

I also love how sleek it looks. I usually am a little worried about glass. It can be hard to keep clean with little feet all over it. I also have a huge fear of it breaking with little ones around. But it has been tried and true. My kids love checking their weight. And I love that I can keep easy track of my older sons weight to make sure he is staying on track.

I love that as a part of the package, you receive a measuring tape to check and see your progress while you are working on your personal goals.

CheeWees Review and GIVEAWAY!!!!

Both my boys are foodies. It is weird to say that for a two year old and almost five year old. But it is so true. He is always wanting a snack. So, when I received CheeWees to try out. I thought they would be great for them. They is the best food critic. Even at their ages.
We started by trying CheeWees. These are not like your typical crunchy cheese curl. These are baked rather then fried. Which is great, when you are looking for a healthier alternative. These also come in multiple flavors. Not just "cheese snack" as most are labeled.

The flavors include:
  • Bar-B-Que which have a wonderful flavor. This was a top flavor in my home.
  • Green Onion which was my personal favorite. It has a nice taste of green onion while still having a cheese flavor to it.
  • Hot N Spicy which I was nervous to try. I thought they would just taste "hot". But to my surprise, they still held a wonderful cheese flavor as well.
  • Jalapeno was my husband's favorite. They still have the cheese flavor, but have a hint of jalapeno as well.
  • Original which is a burst of cheese flavor! My boysgobbled these up!

But if you think that is all this company has to offer, you will be happy to know it is not! They also have:

Peaceful Fruits Review

I am constantly looking for new snacks that are healthier options for my kids. They LOVE to snack. But I really hate giving them the fruit snacks, and fruit rolls that are artificial, and end up just getting stuck in their teeth. So I was so happy when I was able to try Peaceful Fruits.

I was lucky enough to receive each flavor to review. Peaceful Fruit are organic fruit strips. They are all made by hand from whole fruits. They blend them and then slow dry them. They are naturally preserved without additives.

These snacks are:

  • Gluten Free
  • Vegan
  • Non GMO
  • USDA certified organic
  • All natural 100% fruit

There are two assortments you can order from their site. There is the Nina Assortment which is:

  • Original Acai
  • Passion fruit
  • Apple + Acai drizzle
  • Strawberry +Acai drizzle

There are no more then five ingredients in any of these flavors listed above. Also, I love that I can read exactly what is going into my kids bodies. Fruit. There is no weirdly spelled things that you need to sit and google, to figure out what exactly that product is. There is not artificial coloring or dyes that you have to feed your kids.

The AJ Assortment consists of:

  • Mango
  • Pineapple + Acai drizzle
  • Blueberry + Acai drizzle
  • Peach +Acai drizzle

Another thing I personally love about Peaceful Fruits, they have a social good business model that not only helps protect the Amazon. But my absolute favorite part, they employ people with disabilities in Akron, Ohio. All while creating healthy snacks for all ages. This really hits home to me, as I have had special needs kids in the past. I also worked many years with adults with developmental disabilities. And for them, finding work can be very hard.

These are great on the go snacks, for you, your kids, and even your grandma. You can find more about them by clicking here
