Sneakz Organic Review

I will admit, as a mom I have an awful time getting veggies in my kids. We fight almost nightly, and in the end I may get them to eat one pea, or one corn kernel. It drives me nuts! I am always looking for alternatives to help them get extra servings of veggies in a day, and even some days fruits. So trying out Sneakz Organic Milkshakes I was super excited that hopefully I could get my kids to at least drink these with their meals.

I immediately put them in to the refrigerator to get nice and cold. My kids were so eager to try them, I let them each pick one to go with their dinner. My younger son requested Vanilla. Which he was so excited to see the straws and how they work (they are expandable). I put the straw in, and his first words were "This is delicious." So I decided I needed to try it as well. It tastes like a melted Vanilla Milkshake.

The ingredients that are listed online are: "Organic Skim Milk, Filtered Water, Sneakz® Organic Veggie Puree Blend (Filtered Water, Organic Dried [Carrot, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato, Spinach]), Organic Cane Sugar, Natural Flavors, Gellan Gum"

Which then my husband and I to question, Well what does the Chocolate Milkshake taste like. Sure enough, this one as well tasted just like a melted chocolate milkshake. We were so amazed on how it had no weird after tastes.

The ingredients listed online are: "Organic Skim Milk, Filtered Water, Sneakz Organic Veggie Puree Blend (Filtered Water, Organic Dried [Carrot, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato, Beet, Spinach]), Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Dutch Cocoa, Natural Flavors, Gellan Gum, Sea Salt."

My older son was ready to try the Strawberry Milkshake. It tasted just like a Strawberry Milkshake. Not to sweet, but sweet enough that you want to continue drinking.

The ingredients listed are "Organic Skim Milk, Filtered Water, Sneakz® Organic Veggie Puree Blend (Filtered Water, Organic Dried [Carrot, Cauliflower, Beet, Sweet Potato]), Organic Cane Sugar, Natural Flavors, Gellan Gum  "

Each of these drinks are USDA Organic certified with no GMOs. There is no carrageenan. There is no gluten ingredients. There is a half of a serving of vegetables in every box. These have shelf stable packaging, which makes them great for lunch boxes and on the go.

Fun Sparks Glow in the Dark Lawn Darts Review and Giveaway

With it being spring, and coming into summer my family spends a lot of time outside. Between the parks, family parties, and just play time out in the sun I am always looking for different games to play with my kids, and even my husband and friends when we are hanging out. So when I found out that Fun Sparks had a set of Lawn Darts that even glow in the dart, I was on board!

In the summer, even when the kids go to bed, us adults will still have some time outside, sitting by the fire and playing games and what not. The worst part is, when you can no longer see what your doing. I personally hate getting out different lights and everything to try and light up the yard to be able to see what we are doing. There is the hassle of bringing everything out, and setting it up. Then you have cords you are bound to trip over when you are not paying attention. Plus, all the lights mean BUGS lots and lots of them. No one needs more mosquitoes flying around their heads when they are just trying to hang out.

With this set of Lawn Darts, you can use it during the day with your whole family. And at night, you can really get into an adult competition with friends and family. My husband and I have already decided that we should start having nightly tournaments with these bad boys. I also appreciate that everything has its own sturdy carrying bag. Because we all know a lot of different outdoor games end up in grocery bags that get ripped, or thrown in to a lawn game box of some sort, for pieces to go missing. With the rules being right with the game, there is no confusion when it comes time to have that one player who wants to argue the game (we all have that one friend, don't we?)

Sweet Kendama Review

How many of us have played with ball in a cup in our lives? I know I have gave it a shot a few times. And each time I could get it down with ease. I found this company, Sweet Kendamas . A little history of the Kendama game I found very interesting. This actually arrived in Japan around 1777, and actually started more as an adult drinking game. Whoever missed had to drink more. I didn't even know drinking games were a thing back then.

I took mine out of the package, and was amazed at the beautiful colors. The ball seems to have a rubber type coating on it, which I thought was great! I took it outside, because well I am a klutz and I don't need to break any glass in the house. Without watching any of the tutorial videos, which there are so many on youtube to help you learn awesome tricks. I started messing around with it. Within about five minutes I was able ti get it to the "big cup" I am still working on mastering other moves with it. I was proud of myself for being able to get it to one cup. My five year old son tried to play with this as well, even though it is ranked for ages 7+. He couldn't quite get the hang of it, but I am sure if he watches a tutorial he would be able to get it down.

Overall I think this is a great little game for one person to play. It is great for people like me who need to move their hands around a lot, and really can help teach kids to focus and concentrate.

Banana Baby Review

My two year old is constantly chewing. He has always been the chewer in my family. And finding him safe things to chew on can be really hard. He never was a pacifier sucker. But he likes the feeling of things to chew on. I was so happy when I found Baby Banana. They sent me Smoothie Soothers to have my son check out. These come in a three pack of very cute fruit. They are hollow, which I think is great because I have seen so many teethers that can get so gross on the inside from them being covered.

These have a great squishy sensation, which is great for all ages for teeth pain relief. They are made from 100% food grade silicone. Are safe to put into the dishwasher, which to me is also a great selling point. I hate dishes, I hate hand washing anything, so if I can throw it in when I am running a load, then why not right? Smoothie Soothers are also safe for the freezer. Who doesn't need this when those teeth are popping through? My sons favorite piece of fruit was the grape. I think the texture really feels good on his mouth. I love that these are for use from birth to thirty six months. So they will have time to get their use, and are completely safe.

Bling2o Review

Summer time in our house is almost all day every day pool time. My older son is a fish, he has known how to swim since he was 2. And he loves going under water. We have tried goggles in the past, but even the children's goggle we have found never fit my kids faces right. They are always getting flooded with water, and constantly breaking.

So finding Bling2o, I was super curious how well they would build their goggles. I was so happy when I opened my packaged, and they were so nicely placed. And the box was so pretty. My boys were trying to dig into the box before I could even get a picture. My older son was excited to pick out goggles that looked like a squid. We took them out of their case, and he put them on immediately. They fit so snug, but not uncomfortable at all for him. He was sad that the pool is not set up yet. But we did take them for a test run in the bath tub. He was so excited that water wasn't filling his eyes. I love how cute and stylish they are.

My two year old was happy to receive the "fishy goggles" as he called them. He thought he was so cool. He wanted to wear them every where. And with little adjustment, they fit perfect. I love that Bling2o has sturdy straps on their goggles. They are easy to adjust, and they do not just snap or come loose easily.

Bling2o  doesn't only produce swim goggles for boys. They also have a girls line of very cute swim goggles. They also have kick-boards for both boys and girls. They even have snorkels. I am overly impressed with how well these are put together. I also love how much my boys love them. I can not wait to be able to spend my summer watching them swim around in the pool using their imaginations to become all different things with their awesome goggles.

Goliath And Pressman Game Review

My boys and I love board games. We have had to spend a lot of time over the winter, and what is supposed to be spring right now due to the weather. And there is nothing better then having a game day with your kids. You can watch them learn, and grow. And my favorite part is all the belly laughs I get from my kids when we are playing different games. So when Goliath and Pressman games let me have two more games to review, I couldn't wait to have another game day with my boys!

Googly Eyes is a game that is meant for ages 7 and up, but my five year old played with a little bit of assistance. This is a new take on an old game. You have three different colored lenses, which are for easy, medium, and difficult. You roll the dice, and land on the color of lenses you need. There also are things like lose a turn, and you may land on a space that tells you to use your opposite hand to draw the picture. You then pick up a card, pick the color that correlates with the color you landed on, put the correct lenses in and try to draw the picture within the time on the timer. My husband helped us play this game, so we broke off into teams of two. My five year old and I dominated the board, and ended up making it to the finish first. There were so many laughs with this game. I can't wait to play it again. Even with adults, this game is great with the lenses! Maybe after the kids go to bed one night.

Jumpin' Monkeys is a game meant for ages five and up. Though my two and a half year old helped with this game, and with a little assistance thought it was great to be able to play along with big brother! This game is for two to four players. Each player gets four monkeys of the same color, with a catapult to match their monkeys. Also, each player gets four bananas. You set the tree up in the middle, and each player puts in one banana into a pile. You do not have to take turns in this game, which I think is helpful for kids who don't have much patience to wait their turn. You have to get all four of your monkeys to hang into the tree. They can not be laying flat. If they do, you can pick them up and try again. If they don't land in the tree at all, you can also pick them up and try again. At the end of each round, the person who was the first to get all their monkeys to hang in the tree wins the bananas. You play four rounds of this game, and who ever has the most bananas at the end of all four rounds wins!

Both of these games are great. My family loves them so much. And the kids ask to play over and over again!

Thermacell Patio Shield Review and Giveaway

With it coming into spring, (even though here in Michigan, it does not feel like spring most days.) The bugs are starting to come out on warmer days, and I know not very far out from now, the mosquito's are going to be out like crazy! My family likes to spend a lot of time outside in the summer. We usually like to hang out by the pool. My husband do a lot of night time swimming. And every year when we go out and swim at night, the mosquito's are so bad. We always end up covered in mosquito bites. It is so annoying!

Life Detergent Review

Who else hates pouring laundry detergent? Have you ever had liquid detergent sitting on top of your dryer or somewhere close when you have an off balance load, and it drops to the floor and breaks the entire brand new container all over your laundry room floor? I hate to admit that I have. I started using pods in the last year, but I get so nervous that my kids, even though I tell them they are chemicals are going to try to taste one. (They are stored high up and no where near the kids, I just have the fear.) So when I was given the chance to check out Life Detergent sheets I was so excited.

You simply throw in a sheet when you start your washing machine, and wash it in right with your clothes. And because they are so light, you don't chance an unbalanced load knocking them every where in your laundry room. These look similar to dryer sheets. And do not look tasty at all. They are scent free. Which is great for young kids clothes.

It will cost you roughly .19 cents per load, which doesn't seem bad when you have a lot of laundry from little ones. When I tried them, I used them on my boys very dirty clothes after a long day playing in the mud. The detergent worked great. It took out all the mud stains and smell out, without leaving any weird fragrances behind. I would recommend these to any one with small children especially. Or any one who has ever lost a whole jug of detergent to the ground.

These are:

  • Great for high efficiency machines (low sudsing)
  • Fully dissolves, no matter the water temperature.
  • There are no harsh chemicals.

Covered Goods Review

Every nursing mother would agree that finding a nice breathable, not awful looking cover makes everything so much better when you are nursing around company, or in public. I am sure that they would also agree that they would like to pack as lightly as possible, so multi-functional products work best. I have found Covered Goods, which is a company that makes four in one nursing covers!

With this one product you can use it as:

  • A nursing cover
  • A carseat cover
  • A cart cover
  • An infinity scarf!!
These products give you full all around coverage when nursing, which is so much better then the traditional apron style nursing covers. I hate when I am nursing and my children kick around and end up exposing me. I am sure every one around me hates it as well.

The fabric is very soft, breathable, and stretchy so it will still be comfortable for you and baby. And when you are finished you can easily fix yourself without to much fuss, and place baby into their car seat for a nap. And easily transfer the cover over to the car seat so you don't have a bunch of people trying to touch your precious angel while they are trying to sleep off their milk induced coma.

I love that this product can be used in so many ways, and more then just for baby. It is very high quality, while still being affordable. If you would like to find out more about this print and many more beautiful prints from Covered Goods, please click here

Teething Bling Review

I love wearing jewelry, but had to give up necklaces once I had children. They were constantly pulling and trying to eat my favorite necklace. It was in getting repaired more then it was around my neck. Plus the constantly putting it in their mouth made me worried that if a stone popped off I would have a little surprised once it passed through them. So when I discovered Teething Bling, I was so excited.

Teething Bling is the original teething jewelry, which is great for moms who want to look fashionable while their kids have something to soothe their sore gums. They come in all different colors and designs. And are great functional jewelry. I love how affordable these are at only ten dollars! What a great value.

Another thing I really love that Teething Bling has to offer, Mini Bling necklaces for your children. I love that there is a break away clasp so it isn't going to choke your child. Pictured here is the Creeper Necklace. Which is so affordable at only five dollars per necklace.

Candy Japan Review

I personally love candy from different countries. I love be able to try different things. And a lot of the time I love most of it. Maybe my sweet tooth is very strong. When I had the chance to work with Candy Japan, I was so excited.

Candy Japan works like this: You get to choose how many boxes you would like to receive. You can get as little as two in one month up to 24 in one year. They then send out two boxes a month straight from Japan to your door. The boxes do take a while to get over to the states, which is to be expected because it is coming straight from Japan! They send you a notice before it comes for you to know exactly what you are getting in your box.

Pictured is the candy I received this month. It came with three different candies. One is a grape Nagai Sakeru. Which you can tear off in strips in eat. It tastes so good. Very grape flavored.

Next in the red bag is Kameda Chocolate Persimmon Seeds. Which are actually much better then I expected. And so much fun to try.

Last but not least is Kracie Colorful Chocolate Kit. I let my kids help with this one, and thankfully in the email I received it had the directions in English so there were no second guesses on what the directions said.

Overall I loved the package I received! If you would like to check into Candy Japan, please click here

Pacific Baby Hot Tots Toddler Bottle Review

Both my kids have come to an age where we are not using regular sippy cups any longer. We have been mainly using sports drink cups for my oldest, really because I fear the spills and clean up. And my two year old has caught on that he isn't a baby any more and doesn't want to use baby cups either. So when I received Pacific Baby Hot Tots Toddler Bottles, I thought that my older son wouldn't be so into them and I would try them with my younger son. I was completely wrong! They both wanted them.

Some of my favorite features about this bottle are:

  • Keeps liquids cold or warm for up to ten hours!
  • It is stainless steel, and easy to keep clean
  • DISHWASHER SAFE (Top Rack) but who doesn't love that?
  • You can get it in stylish colors
  • You can get replacement straws for them
  • There is a cover over the straw that is easy for the kids to move, but helps keep all the germs away when not in use.
Both of my boys love their cups! We use them every day for juice and water. And I have found that they do not leak, at least for us. They are easy to disassemble and put in the dishwasher. And they are great for teaching your kids to drink out of straws.
