My boys have been obsessed with Hexbugs since my oldest was about two. He has wanted all of them every single time we pass them in the store. We typically find the mechanical bugs, as well as the nano bugs. He would think they were so cool. And to be honest, I as an adult, think they are so cool too. Hexbug is was more then that though.
battlebots. He thinks these are the greatest thing ever. He and his little brother have been having battles with each other almost daily since receiving battlebots. He has even been bringing them into his bed at night so he can continue to play with them as he goes to sleep. They both have picked out their favorite bots and really like to spend hours with them. This is a great way to get kids off the electronics.
aquabots, he immediately wanted to put all of them right into the bath tub. My husband opened up the packages while I started the bath tub. I have never seen these kids get their clothes off faster to be able to play in the tub in my life. They spent well over an hour in the tub, just giggling and playing with the aquabots. The boys are now begging for them to go into the pool. My husband and I were both impressed with how fast these little bots zoomed around the water. My husband even joked about buying some of his own to use as lures to catch the bigger fish. The only downside I have found in my household, is my one year old puppy thinks that they are for him to catch, which can cause a large splash when he goes flopping into the bathtub.
Hexbug also has many other varieties of interesting little toys. These little toys are packed with so much fun, My kids are already eyeballing the different aquabots fish that they can get as pets to put into a fish bowl.
