Milk + Sass Review and Giveaway!

I have thick thick hair. People comment about how they wish their hair could be as thick as mine constantly. And I will be honest, I hate my hair. It constantly has tangles and snarls. It takes for ever to try and brush out with it currently being to the middle of my back. And as a mom, I some days just don't have the time to get it all completely brushed out. I rip through it as fast as I can, This results in my daily look being the every loving "mom bun."

Milk + Sass has a couple of great products that they sent out to me to try. I would like to start by talking about the Macarons. When I first received them, I thought, oh these are so cute. But there is no way that this is going to tame my mop. So I took all my pictures for you to see, and decided what the heck. I want to give it a try. My hair was dry, which means with any other brush there would be no getting through my hair without some sort of product to soften up all the snarls my hair magically gets. I grabbed my mint citron macaron and went at my hair. I didn't go hard, just super soft brushing my hair. I was amazed on how easily the macaron went through my hair. There was no tugging, pulling or ripping. And in the end, my hair felt so soft and smooth. My hair wasn't all poofed out three foot away from my head looking like Frankenstein.

I love that the macaron comes in six super cute colors. They fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. And even come with a compact mirror so you can check yourself out on the go. I immediately put a macaron in my purse, and one in my bathroom. These are much better then other small travel brushes I have tried in the past. Remember those flip brush numbers that would get stuck in your hair when we were younger? They were awful on your hair, and you always ended up getting hair stuck inside of the spot where it closed. I love that they way the macaron closes, you don't have to worry about wrappers and what not getting in your brush. Or loose hair getting all over your purse.

Another great product Milk + Sass has out is there Sugar Twist line. Having this thick hair, and always rocking a mom bun I either have hair ties that are way to tight on the first day or two, then all of a sudden they become so stretched out, I am having to wrap around my hair four times and still having to re put up my hair multiple times today because it is either pulling, or sagging. There is no comfort. I was so curious on how the Sugar Twist worked. I will be honest. I was super skeptical about them, because how is something like this, going to hold in all this hair without it falling? I wasn't worried about it being to tight, but not secure enough.

Oh my gosh, I was so happy when I tried one out. I took my old hair tie out, and put in the sugar twist after a great brush through with the macaron. I expected it to hold for ten minutes. I must report, I played with my kids, running around the house. I went swimming. Cooked dinner. Laid down even, not once did I need to re do my mom bun. It never sagged or anything. There is no pulling in weird spots on my head. No headaches from to tight hair ties. This is like sweet heaven in my hair. I love it. Milk + Sass also has great color combinations of their sugar twist. So if you want to be sassy while out and about you can, or if you want it to be less noticeable you can do that too.
