Hartz Review

Last year my husband and I decided to get a Saint Bermastiff to add to our family. Diesel, is a huge toy lover. And if he doesn't have toys of his own to play with, he will find something to play with. So to keep him out of trouble I have to stay stocked up on toys and chewing toys for him to play with. I have found over the past year that Diesel can destroy toys within minutes. So I have to find things that can really last.

The squeak and treat duck toy has been his new favorite indoor fetch toy to play with the kids. He loves when we put a treat in there, then toss it. Especially when he starts to wear down a bit, he loves trying to figure out how to get the treat out. I love that it can keep him busy and occupied. And I love that it is soft so when my kids or I am tossing it for him around the house, I don't have to worry about us breaking tv screens, or any of the glass that is around the house.

Oinkies Real Chick Dog chews are not just Diesels. He has to share those with my old Welsh Corgi/ Heeler mix named Eldorado. I love that the dogs can chew these with ease. They don't hurt Eldo's mouth or anything like some do for her at thirteen. I also love that they don't leave a huge mess, and don't stink or stain.

DuraPlay dog bone has a bacon scent that Diesel can't seem to get enough of. My kids actually got this out for him when I wasn't looking. It isn't as durable if you leave him alone with it for long. But is another great toy for fetch. He loves the scent. And I love that it isn't strong enough to stink my house up.

When  I first opened up the two bones, really in hopes that I could get my picky old lady to pick one up and try it out. She is a bit of a snob, and took a Chew N Clean bone into her mouth and laid with it. I think she was just trying to keep it from Diesel. Mind you, Eldorado is very particular and will only gnaw on actual bones. She can spot a fake from miles away, and will have nothing to do with it, usually only sniffing. At least she attempted. Diesel however was jumping up and down trying to dance to get the bones. The pink and white bone has not broke apart at all, but the bacon flavor (which is supposed to happen) came out of the other bone after about forty five minutes. There is still some in there too.

I love all of these products for my dogs. Diesel definitely approves. And Eldorado, well her snobby self is always happy with a doggy chew.
