Camus Cognac VSOP Borderies Review

Camus is back with a limited edition of Borderies VSOP. This Cognac is has a much lighter color then other cognacs I have tried. More of an amber color rather than a dark color. It has a great scents with hints of vanilla and orange zest. With hints of spice and floral aromas.

This has been aged for four years, and is very flavorful and delicious. It has a light hint of woodiness to it, but nothing to overbearing.

I love using Camus Cognac to sip on over ice, as well as making a few mixed drinks at the end of a long day.

Hot Toddy's have always held a special place in my heart after hearing about them from someone I used to care for.  Rather then using whiskey in the toddy, I chose to use Camus Cognac to use in my toddy. It included:

  • 4 ounces hot water
  • 2 ounces of Camus Cognac
  • 1 ounce of honey
Just add the Cognac and honey to the hot water, stir and sip. These are great when you are feeling under the weather.

Another great drink to make with Camus Cognac is Spiked Cider. Which is rather simple. Four ounces of apple cider with two ounces of Camus Cognac. Mix and serve. You can have this warm or cold. And even garnish with an orange peel.
